Suicide Season Cut Up! puts Bring Me the Horizon's heavy early sound beside electronic reinterpretations that pull the songs in new directions. The original album supplies the riffs, shouted hooks and abrupt rhythmic breaks; the companion disc changes their texture and emphasis. Together, the two discs offer a useful contrast between the band's metalcore foundation and its willingness to experiment.
