December gives Chris Botti's lyrical trumpet playing an unhurried seasonal setting. The arrangements leave space around the melody, letting tone and phrasing shape the familiar songs. Rather than crowding every passage, the ensemble supports a consistent, relaxed atmosphere, making the album a natural fit for listeners who enjoy melodic jazz and quieter holiday performances.
