• Single LP reissue on Ipanema Sun

For fans of: João Gilberto, Nara Leão, Maria Bethânia

Before their later tropicalist experiments, Gal Costa and Caetano Veloso made this quietly focused set of Brazilian songs. Intimate vocals and delicate arrangements place the emphasis on melody, phrasing and the subtle rhythmic movement of bossa nova.
