Green River "Come On Down" LP

• The Seattle band's 1985 debut EP
• Early recordings featuring future members of Mudhoney and Pearl Jam
• A meeting point between punk abrasion and heavy rock

For fans of: Mudhoney, Melvins, and early Soundgarden.

Come On Down documents Green River before the Seattle sound became a worldwide phenomenon. Sludgy riffs and raw vocals connect punk's rough edges with the weight of hard rock. The EP's compact running time preserves the energy of a band still working out a sound that would have a much wider influence.
