Japanese SHM-CD edition of the 1969 Toronto live album.
Includes "Blue Suede Shoes," "Yer Blues" and "Cold Turkey."
The concert moves from rock-and-roll performances into Yoko Ono's experimental vocal pieces.
For fans of: The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Yoko Ono
Live Peace in Toronto preserves the immediacy of a band coming together onstage, with familiar rock-and-roll material giving the players a shared starting point. Lennon's songs acquire a rough, open character in this setting. Ono's performances then push the concert toward sustained sound and vocal experimentation, making the album a document of both continuity and deliberate disruption.
