Julia Holter "Materia" LP

• Seven-track companion album to Something in the Room She Moves
• Includes two new approaches to the song Materia
• Combines composed songs, improvisation, and layered vocal experimentation

For fans of: Jenny Hval, Broadcast, and Grouper.

Materia returns to ideas Julia Holter left open on Something in the Room She Moves and gives them space to develop. Voices, shifting harmonies, and unexpected instrumental colors connect tightly shaped songs with more exploratory pieces. The result extends her art-pop language while revealing how much a composition can change through arrangement, performance, and perspective.
