Life Is Peachy pushes Korn's low-slung riffs and elastic rhythms into a particularly abrasive space. The guitars scrape around a rhythm section that feels physical and unpredictable, while Jonathan Davis shifts between restraint and eruption. Its rough textures and sudden turns capture the band before their sound became more polished and expansive.
