A newly compiled best-of album featuring representative and popular songs selected from the 14 albums released by Lisa Ono during her EMI years (1997–2006) will be released on the ultra–high-end analog format "100% Pure LP", which made its long-awaited return last year.

In addition to Brazilian classics such as "Garota de Ipanema", "Chega de Saudade", and "Samba De Verao", the album also includes a wide range of standard numbers from around the world under the theme of a “musical journey,” including "Smile", "Jambalaya", "Besame Mucho", "les feuilles mortes", and "Blue Hawaii". These songs showcase the essence of Lisa Ono’s style, expressed through her gentle and soft bossa nova arrangements.

"100% Pure LP" is a special Made in Japan product that first appeared in 2012 and quickly attracted global attention as a pioneer of modern high-fidelity records. One of its key features is the use of “uncolored virgin vinyl,” eliminating carbon and other coloring materials typically used in standard records that can affect sound quality. By using only pure straight polyvinyl chloride as the raw material, the stability of the pressing process is significantly improved.

Another distinctive feature is the use of a “metal master press.” In conventional record production, the process involves creating a metal mother and stamper, but with this method those steps are omitted, and the record is pressed directly from the metal master. This allows for extremely accurate groove formation. However, due to lower durability, the pressing quantity is strictly limited.

This release also adopts a 45 RPM format rather than the standard 33⅓ RPM LP speed. Although this results in a 2LP set due to shorter playing time per side, it allows for wider and longer grooves, improved rotational stability, and significant advantages in reproducing fine details and richer volume.

The audio sources are newly transferred WAV files from the original analog master tapes or digital track-down masters prior to CD mastering. The material has been mastered as flat as possible to preserve freshness and dynamic range, pursuing a natural and faithful reproduction of the original sound.

By carefully refining every stage—from master source and vinyl materials to the pressing process—the "100% Pure LP" format brings out the full potential of the analog record. Retaining the strength and warmth unique to analog, it delivers a truly pure and clear sound free from muddiness or coloration.
