Melvins “Houdini” CD

• Melvins' 1993 studio album.
• Includes "Honey Bucket," "Hooch" and "Lizzy."
• Heavy, off-center riffs meet elastic rhythms and abrupt changes in pace.

For fans of: Tad, Big Business, Eyehategod

Houdini makes heaviness feel unstable through riffs that lurch, grind and suddenly accelerate. Buzz Osborne's guitar and Dale Crover's drumming keep shifting the balance between weight and movement, giving the songs a distinctive physical character. Compact bursts of energy sit beside stranger, more spacious passages, preserving the Melvins' appetite for disruption within a strongly defined album sound.
