For fans of: Syd Barrett, The Soft Machine, early psychedelic rock.

Star Club 67 catches Pink Floyd before their music settled into the grander shapes of the following decade. Barrett's songs open into loose, exploratory passages, with organ, bass, and drums pushing the band toward the outer edges of its early psychedelic sound. The raw recording puts the performance's atmosphere ahead of polish.
