For fans of: The Dictators, The Undertones, Buzzcocks

Road to Ruin keeps the Ramones' clipped guitar attack intact while giving their pop instincts more room. Acoustic touches and broader arrangements sit naturally beside the fast, economical songs. Joey Ramone's melodic delivery makes the emotional core clear, and the band's steady pulse keeps the record connected even when the textures move beyond their earliest template.
