Debut album from Granada's TNT, originally released by DRO in 1983.
Combines the urgency of 1977 punk with post-punk experimentation and Clash-like rhythmic variety.
Jesús Arias's lyrics give the songs a pointed, thoughtful character.
For fans of: The Clash's Combat Rock, early Spanish punk, and adventurous post-punk.
Manifiesto Guernika captures a formative moment in Spanish punk, with TNT stretching a raw, direct approach into a broader musical vocabulary. The band brings sharp guitar attack and restless arrangements to songs that carry both political weight and individual character. Its energy remains immediate decades after the original release.
Tracks including "Guernica," "Sin Futuro," and "Todo Está Bien" show a group willing to move beyond a single punk template. Beat Generation's reissue returns this Granada underground document to vinyl, making it an inviting starting point for listeners exploring the connections between Spanish punk, post-punk, and the era's more expansive rock sounds.
