Melodic singing, harmonized lead guitars and elaborate, fast-moving arrangements.
For fans of: Iron Maiden, Trivium, Bullet for My Valentine
City of Evil expands Avenged Sevenfold's songs through interwoven guitar leads, forceful drumming and ambitious changes in structure. The melodic vocals give the dense instrumental writing a clear point of focus, connecting fast attack with larger, more theatrical choruses. Slower passages and acoustic colors widen the album's emotional range without interrupting the sense of restless forward movement.
