Black Sabbath “Vol. 4” CD

• Black Sabbath's 1972 fourth studio album.
• Includes 'Snowblind,' 'Supernaut' and 'Changes.'
• Expands the band's heavy sound with acoustic passages, piano and studio experimentation.

For fans of: Pentagram, Saint Vitus, Electric Wizard

Vol. 4 keeps Black Sabbath's monumental riffs intact while opening the door to more varied textures. Grinding guitars sit beside a stark piano ballad and delicate acoustic playing, making the heavy passages hit from unexpected angles. The rhythm section gives the songs a loose, forceful swing that remains central to the album's appeal.

Listen: Snowblind (live performance)
