Japanese noise-punk, scandinavian crust, UK d-beat and anarcho-punk, and various declinations of grind and speed metal all deliberately consumed by a raw and caustic production pushed to its limits, collapse into apocalyptic maelstrom of noise, speed and distortion in which the only law reigning is that of anarchy, chaos, and of no law at all. Fans of Doom, Anti-Cimex, Extreme Noise Terror and Napalm Death will instantly be drawn into the madness and destruction of Last Agony’s lawless assault, but this is far from just a mere throwback exercise. This is the sound of a broken world gone deaf, dumb and insane, and disintegrating into the wake of its own failures and horrendous self-destructiveness.
