Star Moles is the project of Philadelphia songwriter Emily Moales.
Kevin Basko produced the album with contributions from Sam Sullivan and Jem Seidel.
The songs draw on everyday life alongside larger political and environmental concerns.
For fans of: Foxygen, Weyes Blood, Cate Le Bon.
Highway to Hell brings Moales' vivid writing into focus through warm, carefully shaped arrangements. Personal details and wider anxieties share the same space, carried by a voice that gives each line its own character.
